Otis Fishing Report Note: A couple of days ago, shehikes alerted us to an Instagram photo of Otis which might’ve indicated where Otis was fishing on or about September 16 during his Mini Second Walkabout of 2023. (The photo was posted September 16 without the date or location of the shot.)
A few of us asked the photographer — jwkimages — the date the photo was taken. amurpher alerted us to an answer given today: The photo was taken “6 days ago,” so that’s September 12.
September 12 is the last time we saw Otis in daylight before he got tired of us paparazzi chasing him and went dark a few days. So we still don’t know where Otis went, but the mystery of the photo is solved! And since he’s returned, it matters less, I think. 🙂 In any event, we wanted to report back what we found out!
