Otis Fishing Report

Otis Fishing Report for July 29, 2023
We’d really love to do a solid Otis Fishing Report for you tonight, but we’re missing one key component today– Otis! 😀 So we’ve got a mini-Report tonight to hold you over until tomorrow. 🙂

As Otis does when he’s on a fat-finding mission, Otis worked the Overnight Shift last night, and managed to upgrade his total fish count to 7 Fish + 2 Scraps for yesterday (posted earlier; check profile for that update). There were a few hours we couldn’t see anything but bugs, so he likely snuck in a couple more when we weren’t looking.

Around 6:00 a.m. Katmai time Otis caught another. By this time, he had been at the Falls for 12 solid hours. He stuck it out another 2+ hours, and then went for naps around 8:30 a.m. Katmai time. And we haven’t seen him since!

We know Otis likes a good, long snooze, but there is also the possibility that he’s cheating on us at another fishing hole — we can’t rule out that there are salmon in other parts of these woods.

Until tomorrow, wishes for fishes, and here are some photos for you to enjoy in the King’s absence. ♥
