BREAKING! September 9, 2023: Otis Returns from Walkabout!
Today is a Special Day! As Otis returns from Walkabout, so does the Otis Fishing Report return! It (and I) never left, actually. 🙂 Some of you have seen us flit in and out of chat. Mostly we’ve just kept our left eye on Kat’s River View and River Watch, knowing that Otis would return, and by some power, feeling today would be the Magical Day the Fishing Report would return.
Unbeknownst to him, Otis has the uncanny ability to walk (literally) back into my life when I need him most. To be more precise, to distract me from a loss; to refocus my attention to the simple (but not always easy) task of counting fish. He’s done this the last couple of years, and I’m so grateful for him. ♥ Thank you, for coming Home, when I need you most, Otis.

We awoke (because our bedtime is… early lol) to the news that Otis was spotted returning from his Summer Walkabout on Kat’s River View at 8:19 p.m. 9:18 p.m. Katmai time yesterday, September 8, 2023.
