Otis Fishing Not-A-Report for September 1, 2023: Can you believe it’s September already?! Seems like only yesterday the cams were on and there were not bears, but we kept filling up the chat boards anyway talking about birds, fish, and bushes (that looked like bears)!
There was a possible Otis sighting this morning on Riffles. I don’t pretend to be the be-all-end-all of Otis IDs, but I do get to have an opinion. 😉 I don’t think the ears, gait, and markings were him (though a could-be relative?), plus I think he would’ve at least meandered over to the Office, if it were him. Regardless who’s right, there were no fish consumed by this bear, so no harm and no foul there.
