Otis Fishing Not-A-Report for August 29, 2023: Nope, no Otis sightings on cam today, but we do have a special Otis GIF tonight! MaryM Otis 2016 captured Otis doing whaaat? Climbing on rocks! 😀 This is one of my favorite GIFs so far this year. ♥
Still keeping one eye on my cam monitors, and we’ll let you know when Otis arrives back from his Walkabout! In the meantime, wishes for fishes and fat bear dreams to all! ♥

I miss Otis. I hope he’s having a good walkabout and finding lots of berries, salmon, roots, etc and a nice bed for naps!

I spent my honeymoon in Yellowstone in 1988 looking for bears. I never saw one 1 in 2 weeks until the last day on our way out of the park. He/she was in the Hayden Valley ripping up the ground and eating roots. (this was in May). He/She then bounded across the open area towards the parking area – everyone ran into their cars in 2 seconds. It is one of my most treasured experiences ever! Thank you for your bear reports.
