Otis Fishing Report UPDATE

Otis Fishing Report UPDATE for September 30, 2023: Not entirely sure where our head is at today — perhaps we have a Salmon Wine hangover from pre-Fat Bear Week celebrations — but we didn’t post an update this morning for… well… no (obvious) reason. Sorry to get your day started late, if you were waiting on us!

We did do our daily rewinding and chat scroll, and it appears our boy didn’t appear (on cams) after he left for naps yesterday about 4:00 p.m. Katmai time. We’re thinking he ventured out sometime after cams went to highlights and is (hopefully) fishing the night away.

And so the record books will stand for September 30 at 1 Fish + 1 DOA in about 30 minutes of on-cam time. And for the month of September — with Otis on Walkabout from September 1 until September 8 — we’ve got these totals: 25 Fish + 25 Scraps + 284 DOAs on cam, with no doubt whatsoever that our boy is eating GOBS of fishes off cams.

We’ll be reporting the first day of October later today, and until then, we’re sending Wishes for Fishes and shooting up a request for a Sunshiny Day! ♥

We just really love the imagery of Otis coming from the River to the Falls in the Fog, so we’re sharing that again as our September memory.
