Otis Fishing Report UPDATE

Otis Fishing Report UPDATE for September 28, 2023: Within seconds of posting our Report last evening, Otis appears on screen — chewing. 😀 He’s Meander Fishing in the cool Alaskan evening, seemingly without a care in the world.

After wandering around off cams a while, he heads to the Fish Cache and seeing nothing of interest, heads back into the River and grabs a snack there.

A few minutes later, he pauses to teach some young whippersnappers a thing or two about Meander Fishing and whatnot.

There was much excitement in the youngsters! But it fazed our Zen Otis Bear none at all. 😉

Otis continues to walk the tall grass banks, swim the River, and check the Fish Cache and staying, generally, in the Oxbow area and picking up spawned salmon and spawned salmon bits along his merry way. We’re getting the Occasional Otis Quick Hit.

We’re on a tight schedule today, so we’re going to skip a try to spy our spry boy in the dark and total the fish count for September 28, 2023 at 27 DOAs + 1 Scrap. Not bad for a day spent meandering in the sun in pristine Katmai!

We’ll be back later, and until then, sending Wishes for Fishes and a Congressional Budget Agreement! ♥
