Otis Fishing Report UPDATE for October 4, 2023: When last we saw him waddle off, Otis was atop the Falls heading to either another fishing hole, sweet salmony snoozles, or maybe a cuddle with his girlfriend. 😉 That was just before 10:30 a.m. Katmai time yesterday.
We’ve checked Overnights Brooks Low, Riffles, and River Watch to spy our spry boy, plus the Chat Basement, and no go, so the October 4 fish count stands at 2 Fish + 10 DOAs + 1 Scrap on cam. Not bad at all for the small amount of time he appeared on cams!
Until we see you (and Otis) again, sending Wishes for Fishes and Fat Bear Luck to all today’s contenders! ♥ Do your civic duty and vote for your favorites at Expore.org/fat-bear-week today (8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Katmai time, if we recall correctly)!
And for your viewing pleasure, please enjoy this photo of Otis in his Office yesterday before he went fishin’ (or nappin’)!
P.S. Sorry we’re late — we need more clients who follow bears. 😉
