Otis Fishing Report Note for November 16, 2023: I’ve got Barbra Streisand bellowing in my head, and I’m not going to ugly cry alone, y’all, so you’re coming along on the Final 2023 Otis Memories Ride with me. ♥
Bear No. 480 Otis is a large wild brown bear, we know, and simultaneously he is absolutely adorably Otis. Whether he’s being Zen Master Fisherbear, Snoozly Otis, Salmon Latte Hiccups Otis, Scritchy Itchy Otis, Housekeeping Change the Linens Please Otis, Oops Missed That One Otis, Floatie Otie, Cha Cha Slide Dancing Bear, Downward Bear Yoga Otis, Up the Ladder Otis, Potato-Shaped Otis, Bear Jordan Otis, Full Monty Otis at the Underwater Museum, Harvest Moon Otie, or the newly minted 2023 Rock Climbing Otis, he’s justβ¦ Undeniably Otis.
We’ll miss him, for sure, but know that his Winter Hibernation is exactly what the doctor ordered to heal and rejuvenate. And we’ll be here waiting in June (no, not July, Otis — JUNE) with our Magic Otis Dust and our heart in our hand, ready to Report on your Meanderventures again, Sweet Boy. ♥
Until then, we wish you Sweet Salmony Snoozles and dreams filled with Wishes for Fishes (the wiggly ones preferred)! ♥

Love these images! Thank you for this treat π
You’re very welcome!
I just love your Otis Fishing reports so much!!! Thsi latest one is so beautiful and thank you for including all those GIFs.
Regarding your November 13th post: judging by Otis putting in morning hours, then naptime, then evening hours, seems like our sweet old bear favors the Spanish siesta sort of work day. Good for Otis!!!
Have a great off-season and I wish you Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New YEars, Happy St Paddy’s Day, Happy Easter and any other Holiday you choose to celebrate.
Be well, be happy and we will all be together, typing madly when the Bear Cams come back next Summer.
Haha — I favor the Spanish Siesta workday too!
Thank you for the good wishes, Stacey, and same to you and your family!

Thank you for helping sustain me here in February as I’m missing Otis. Sometimes when I’m feeling stressed I think of one word – Otis, and it helps calm me. Your reports spread more joy about our wonderful bears and, of course, Otis specifically. What a gift! Hope you are enjoying hibernation and, come June, keep up the great work:)
