Otis Prelim Overnights Report for August 4-5, 2023: Hey, hey, y’all! ♥ We are over the 4 count most chatters saw… we are over the 5 count some chatters saw… I don’t know the number yet because I’m still running through the Overnights (in fact, have done almost nothing else since… 7:30(?) my time).
Otis is methodical. His body language is repeated when he catches in his Office in calm and steady times. When the cams are zoomed super far out, we can see eyes left, eyes into water, eyes up, fish flash, eyes right, 4-5 times eyes down/up in his eating motion, and then he returns to eyes left, and… rinse, repeat.
The quality for that distance from Platform to Office is not what it was in 2021, so in 2022, I stopped trying to do the overnights when zoomed out. But because of all the concern right now, I turned off the lights in MY office, upped the contrast on the video, and then proceeded to count fish on the Overnights.
