Otis Fishing Not-A-Report for August 26, 2023: No Otis news today, as far as we know, but we’re still keeping one eye to the Bear Cams each and every day. 🙂 And chat too — because when it explodes, that’s Otis!
Repeating, ICYMI: Last known on-cam sighting of Otis was August 22 in the Lower River. Should be good eats there or wherever he is, if he went on Walkabout.

My granddaughter – 4- watched the bears yesterday for the first time. At first her favorite was 747, because “he’s grump like daddy.” But when we watched some videos of the king, she changed her mind.
Haha! Otis has that effect on people of all ages! Next time your granddaughter is watching bears, let her know the “rules” allow for several “favorites.” She can have a tall favorite, a dark favorite, a girl favorite… As many as she wants!
Also, if bears have best friends, 747 would be Otis’ best friend (I’m sure of it). So I’d say the girl has great taste!!
