Otis Fishing Not-A-Report for October 8, 2023: Day 3, Katmai Log since Otis’ last appearance. Otis hasn’t been seen since his last successful trip Up the Fish Ladder which caused our workbook to teeter further off balance (we stand at 12 up and 6 down, for those of you keeping your own Otis files).
It’s still anybody’s guess as to whether Otis is Up River, Down River, at the spa, getting his nails clipped, shave and a haircut… but we’re keeping our paws crossed for him to make an appearance tomorrow. We’ll be here, if he does.
Until then, we’re sending Wishes for Fishes to all our bear-shaped friends and prayers that Katmai Rangers are still on scene and can give an assist to Snare Bear who was seen a short bit ago (4:14 p.m. Katmai time, Brooks Falls cam). ♥♥♥
And for your Otis fix, tonight we have Mischievous Otis in his Office on September 25. 😉 You are getting verrrry sleeeepy…

Thank you for all of your Fishing Reports and Not-A Reports on Otis, the King of Katmai! Otis is one of my very favorite bears. His eyes in your photo express all of the wisdom he has gathered through the years, so beautiful. I love the photo of Otis sleeping too. It looks as thought he was very young in the sleeping gif. Do you know what year that was taken? He looks so sweet and small. <3 Again thank you for keeping all of us Otis fans in the know about our guy! And hopefully we will get to see Otis again before he takes his long winter's nap.
