Otis Fishing Report UPDATE for August 22, 2023: Otis left for naps just before 3:30 p.m. Katmai time yesterday, and that’s where we left off. Six hours later, we spy Otis walking toward Riffles and the Lower River. We’re pretty sure that’s 151 Walker in the background here in Otis’ Office in this Riffles cam snap, in case you’re wondering why Otis would be heading downriver instead of his Office . 😉
It’s 23 minutes later when a sharp-eyed CamOp picks Otis up on the Lower River cam, and so Meander Fishing season begins! It’s just a minute later that Otis gets his first (on cam) River Scraps!
He glides along the River in search of fish and periscopes adorably on River Watch and as captured by SuspectCelery!
We see you thinking “Hey, now, that’s not Otis!, so just to be sure we know it’s him, Otis does his best Runway Walk and shows off his sheriff’s badge and then gives us his No. 7 side.
After that, we lose him on cams, and we total the August 22 midnight-to-midnight count at 18 Fish + 2 Scraps, with the footnote that off cams + in the river = lots of good eats!
Sending wishes for fishes until later! Have a great day! ♥
